Mundiwerengere Ndalama band comprises of producers, pianists, and vocalists, coming together to form a hip-hop band with a unique touch of organic instruments. Their music style is refreshing, blending modern hip-hop elements with the richness of homegrown melodies. They are invested in creating a distinctive musical experience for their audience.

Arthur Kanchowa

Age: 21

Profession: Music Producer Education: Pursuing a degree in Mass Communication at Pentecostal Life University (PLU) and completing an advanced diploma in Computing at the National College of Information Technology (NACIT).

I am extremely grateful to be a part of this project because I know that by the end of it, I’ll have learned how to handle the music I make, as well as myself as a brand. On top of that, I’ll gain valuable experience working in a team of creatives.

Mustapha Manjawira

Age: 31

Profession: Singer, Songwriter, Production Designer Roles: Co-Founder of Ignition Media (Ignition Magazine, Bckgrnd Films).

I believe this project will help me understand the creative industry much better. I look forward to connecting with other creatives and gaining an understanding of how they approach their respective fields of play.

I believe that this project will help me gain skills and also connect with other artists who will help me in my journey.

The culmination of these collaborative efforts will be showcased at the prestigious NMN Africa “Battle of the Bands” Show.

Here, the Music4Malawi bands will unveil their creative outputs, presenting a mesmerizing blend of sounds, visuals, and narratives that mirror the nation’s multifaceted cultural identity. The world will witness a harmonious symphony that pays homage to the past while dancing fearlessly into the future.
