Music4Malawi, as fully funded by the Ntha Foundation in partnership with Crossroads Lilongwe Hotel, hosted a high tea event on Saturday the 4th of December, 2021 at the Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.
We had in attendance women from different sectors of the music industry including, Zilanie Gondwe, Yvonnie Sundu, Luki 247, Tiya Joan, and Mirriam Nkosi – among others.
The interactive session touched on many issues that affect women in the music industry and suggested solutions to these problems.
Some of the issues discussed were; fair pay, social expectations, and opportunities and how these relate to women in the music industry.
Of the challenges you face, you must always look for solutions. Ask for help, whenever you need it. You can’t do it all on your own. It’s okay to ask for help.

These discussions were a preamble to the Bants2Business Panel Session which was Facilitated by Zilanie Gondwe.
